The Best Southwest Bookfest presents a children as writers workshop. In the fall of 2006, Christopher Espinosa developed a seminar that demonstrated his novel, The Story Window™ Writing Workshop, and innovative writing strategies for students. Virtually all campuses that have hosted The Story Window™ Writing Workshop credit the program for increasing student writing performance and/or commendation scores associated with TAKS assessment testing. Among his first books published was Rocket Megabyte's Texas Adventure. Christopher "Uncle Chris" Espinosa has been able to combine his love of writing, drawing, and performing into a successful and rewarding career. Mr. Espinosa's latest work, World Wide Wes, is currently in publication and will be available for distribution in 2009.
